This project consists of two book jackets for two titles 'To impress your friends' and 'To help a friend' the books are part of a series called 50 words. The target audience is children aged 7-9 years and the different titles are linked together by the characters, background and series logo. I found this project challenging because the content of the books was not finalised so it was unclear what to base the designs on, as a result I tried to create a broad and unspecific design with cute imagery to appeal to the target audience and relate to each individual title. The designs were produced using a combination of digital and hand drawings to create child friendly and eye-catching covers that would stand out in a book shop.
